Every TV crew walks into the booth with a spotter board: a sheet of who matters tonight, who just came back from injury, which rookie is starting his first game, and the storylines worth bringing up. The Game Notes makes that sheet for any game you're about to watch, so you know what to look for before the opening tip.

What's on a sheet

• Players to watch: the stars, plus anyone returning from injury, debuting, or on a streak, and why tonight matters for each.
• Storylines: the stakes, rivalries, and recent turns the broadcast will likely talk about.
• Key matchup and numbers: the head-to-head battle most likely to decide it and a few numbers worth knowing.
• Watch for: specific things to keep an eye on during the game.
• Injury report: the current status list for both teams.

Where it comes from

Schedules, records, team leaders, recent results, betting lines and injury reports come from ESPN's public scoreboard data. For each game, Claude searches current reporting and writes the sheet from those facts. Notes are refreshed before game time so late injury news gets picked up. Sources are listed at the bottom of every sheet. It can still get things wrong, so check the official injury report if a decision depends on it.
